Dr. Gregory Hack

Dr. Gregory Hack is a graduate of Brown University and the Columbia University School of Dental and Oral Surgery. Following the completion of a one-year general practice residency at Lenox Hill Hospital in New York City, Dr. Hack pursued his orthodontic specialty training at the University of Connecticut Health Center. Dr. Hack then joined Orthodontic Associates in October 1991.

Dr. Hack has taken a leadership role in organized dentistry at the local, state, and national levels. He has served as President of the Connecticut State Society of Orthodontists and as President of the New London County Dental Society. He has also served on the Board of the Directors of the Northeastern Society of Orthodontists, which serves the northeastern United States and eastern Canada.

Dr. Hack is committed to giving you the most modern and highest quality orthodontic care. He attends continuing education conferences throughout the country on a regular basis, and is an active member of the New England Damon Study Club. He also maintains a strong connection to the University of Connecticut Department of Orthodontics through its Alumni Association.

Dr. Hack is very thankful for all that he has received from the community, and thus, he strives to give back to the community whenever he can. He is a frequent participant in local fundraisers and community events, and he has served on a number of Boards of the First Congregational Church of Old Lyme. He is presently a member of the MacCurdy-Salisbury Educational Foundation. Dr. Hack thoroughly enjoys the relationships that he forms with his patients and their parents. He hopes that his love for orthodontics and his patients shines through every day! Dr. Hack looks forward to meeting you as you embark on your exciting orthodontic journey!

On a personal note, Dr. Hack resides in Old Lyme with his wife Barbara and three children. Dr. Hack is an avid outdoorsman who enjoys sailing, golf, skiing, and competitive rowing. A former collegiate rower, Dr. Hack got back into the sport in a big way a few years ago, competing in masters events at the Head of the Charles, Head of the Schuylkill, and other well-known regattas. Dr. Hack presently serves as President of the Old Lyme Rowing Association / Blood Street Sculls, helping to organize community rowing for all age groups.
